Easy Cheese Salsa Dip

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Try this super easy cheese salsa dip that takes minimal effort and everyone will love.

This is one of my favorite dips to serve and is so simple to put together. Follow these steps and enjoy it with friends and family….or for yourself!

I’m a sucker for a good dip and will try just about anything especially with cheese. This easy cheese salsa dip is one of my favorites and a go to if your needing something quick. There are only three ingredients for this recipe; cream cheese, salsa, and shredded cheese. The layers should be added into a round oven safe dish, baked together and served warm with your favorite chips, crackers or veggies!

You’ll want to preheat your oven and use cooking spray on your dish before you get started. The next step is to start your layers and let the baking do the rest. Setting up the layers literally takes 5 minutes before you’re ready to pop into the oven and call it a day.

The first layer is all about the cream cheese! You’ll want to use 8oz of softened cream cheese and then spread evenly as the bottom layer of the dip. It’s okay if it looks messy, the layers melt together when it’s done and you’ll be scooping into this dish in no time.

Next, add your salsa. You can use any salsa that you like, I prefer medium chunky salsa for added texture. Mild or hot can work too depending on who you’re serving. You can also keep it simple and dice up tomatoes for this layer or if you ever run out of salsa this is a great alternative. This is the middle portion of the dip so any extra ingredients your thinking of using, this would be a good place to add them.

Lastly, you just have your top layer which is the shredded cheese. This is my favorite part and you can add as much as you want. I use a mixed four cheese blend but any shredded cheese can work. Also, you can add toppings such as diced black olives, jalapeƱos, etc. Feel free to be creative!

Once you’ve completed your layers, place the dish in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the edges start to crisp. Once finished, let cool for about 5 minutes before serving. This easy cheese salsa dip is so simple and a great last minute option for any get-together.
