Hello to this heaven of a recipe- Buffalo Chicken Pasta!
This slow cooker – Buffalo Chicken Pasta recipe has my heart. I am all about the spice, give me all the heat! When my mom was pregnant with me her biggest craving was anything spicy, yet she hates spicy foods. She can’t even have handle too much pepper to taste.
Anyway, if your looking for a warm cozy meal and can handle some spice you must give this recipe a go. It doesn’t get any easier than throwing all the ingredients in your crock pot and letting it do it’s thing.
What you’d need:
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- Franks red hot sauce – original
- Cream cheese
- Blue Cheese Dressing
- Shredded cheese (your preference)
- Penne Pasta
- Scallions (Optional)
These may be the easiest instructions ever, but literally, aside from the pasta, throw all the ingredients in the slow cooker starting with your chicken. Set on low for 5 hours. Mix around periodically and after about 4 hours take the chicken out, shred and place back in the crock pot. It should be falling apart at that point.
Once the shredded chicken is back in, add the pasta w/ 1 cup of water and let it absorb until it becomes buffalo cheesy goodness. Let it cook for that last hour. Feel free to keep on warm until ready to serve or dive right in and enjoy.
This slow cooker – Buffalo Chicken Pasta has become a staple in our house. Perfect for those cold football Sunday’s here in New England. Hope you enjoy as much as we do!
