This is a quick recipe for a delicious pasta dish to satisfy your hunger. Only a few simple ingredients needed to throw this easy Fettuccine meal together for any night of the week.
I’m a big advocate for comfort food, Pasta being top of that list. You’ll want to use your favorite fettuccine brand or opt for alternative pasta option for this recipe.
To start, you’ll want to cook and soften your onion and garlic for the sauce in about a tablespoon of olive oil. You can also add in some salt and pepper here.
Next, you’ll want to add your favorite veggies. Wash and dice some baby Bella mushrooms and add petite peas until they get soft. Sauté until ready to add in sauce mixture. You should also start to boil your pasta at this point.
Once your veggies are cooked feel free to add in your favorite Alfredo sauce. Make sure the heat is on low and bring to a simmer. You can make a sauce from scratch or cheat with your favorite store bought brand. We have been loving the Botticelli Alfredo sauce but add in a few extras.
Once you sauce is warmed up add in some freshly grated parmesan cheese for some extra flavor. This gets the sauce consistency thick and perfectly cheesy.
If you like a little kick to your sauce you can add in some red pepper flakes as well.
Add in your cooked pasta and top with fresh basil for the garnish. Also, you can add more grated cheese if need be. An easy fettuccine dish that’s perfect for the whole family!
