Ingredients:
- 16 ounces Farfalle Pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
- 1 large cucumber
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1/2 cup of White Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 16oz Lite Italian Dressing
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cucumber, yellow onion, black olives, cheese, and chopped basil.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss until evenly coated.
- Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, if needed.
- Chill the pasta salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes but best results are after a few hours.
- Before serving, give the pasta salad a quick toss and garnish with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color.
