I found the best minimal Smallwood frame inspiration for all your best captured moments.
I found the sweet spot to be around 6 or 9 photos. I ended up doing 6 since I wanted to have some storage along the wall as well but easily could have done 9 otherwise.
Sizing is optional but 8×10″ was perfect for the 6 photos I had printed for our living room. To make the most out of the space I really wanted the pictures to be big enough to fill the wall but not too big where it could be overpowering visually.
The frames I found on Amazon are a small thin wood design, light weight and in the color “Beige Oak”. They go perfect with tones a color hue of our photos and just overall picture aesthetic. There were also very simple to hang.
This gallery wall in particular features our engagement photos. We had them professionally taken in July and were obsessed when we got these back. There were so many pictures to choose from and the point of the shoot was to get some options for our save the date and wedding invitations.
Since there were so many that we loved it was extremely hard to narrow it down. I decided on creating a mini gallery wall to display our favorites. It really captures such a fun time in our lives and I’m so happy with how it came out.
There’s really so much you can do with a gallery wall. You can feature kids, wedding photos, pets, artwork, etc. I can’t wait for our future home and space to feature more moments of our life together. Stay Tuned.
