I swear, half my heart belongs to buffalo sauce. I may sound dramatic but it’s by far, a top favorite in my book. I made these quick buffalo chicken style tenders in the Airfryer and now have them on repeat.
If you’re looking for something quick and east, here is a buffalo chicken tender recipe that will not disappoint. Just beak out the air fryer and follow the steps below.
Ingredients you’ll need:
- 8-10 pcs of chicken tenderloins
- buffalo sauce
- bread crumbs
Start with chicken tenderloins and remove the tendons (the ugly, stubborn, white strip that’s found close to the center of the chicken in it’s raw state). This step will probably be the most work you put into this recipe.
Once you chicken is cleaned, coat the outside with 1/4 cup of your favorite buffalo sauce. I like Franks Original. Once all chicken is coated, toss in bread crumbs to lightly coat the chicken.
Set your air fryer to 400 degrees. Place the chicken evenly across the basket but do not overlap, you may need to do a few batches if you have a lot of chicken.
Set the timer to 14 minutes. After the first 7 minutes, stop and flip the chicken to cook the other side for the remaining 7 minutes.
Once done, let them cool off and serve with your favorite side. I like to make wraps with these or use for meal prepping throughout the week.
